Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio has won the ESPN PFA Championship Fans Player of the Month for November.
The 26 year old has enjoyed a successful start to life in the Championship with Leeds having already netted nine times.
Becchio scored his first hat trick in a Leeds shirt during November when he came off the bench with only half hour remaining to fire Leeds to a 3-1 win.
The Argentinian is out of contract at the end of the season but he is keen to extend his stay at Elland Road, speaking on Givemefootball.com who conducts the voting for the award, he said, “I want to stay here. I want to live here. My agent has spoken with Leeds and I want to stay here.
“I am ready to sign a new contract. Of course I see Leeds going into the Barclays Premier League and I want to be part of that.”
Becchio has now scored 45 goals for Leeds since joining the club after a successful trial in the summer of 2008.
