Leeds United chairman Ken Bates could not help but mention Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson`s whinging for complaining about the amount of time played in the game on Saturday.
Ferguson complained after the game, because Leeds had scored the winning goal in time added on, in time added on, at the end of the game at London Road.
His dad, who manages those that shall not be named, is famous for his ‘Fergie Time` and Bates could not help but mention the fact when talking about Ferguson junior`s whinging.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said, “He was moaning about the fact that we scored in the 96th minute of a 94 minute game. He said it was Leeds so it was ok. I though well bug*er me, that is rich coming from the son of the man who has done so much moaning about extra time.
“There is one joke that says, the league rules have been changed to say a game will take place for 90 minutes or however long it is necessary, until United have scored a winner.”
