Leeds United goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown is set to make his return after a year on the sidelines.

The 33-year-old will start for the development squad on Tuesday in their game with Sheffield United, his first game since undergoing foot surgery last April.

Ashdown is out of contract this summer after signing from Portsmouth in the summer of 2012.

He was the regular goalkeeper for Leeds last season in the cup competitions as they reached the League Cup quarter-final and FA Cup fifth round, making eight appearances in total.
