Leeds United majority shareholders GFH Capital have announced major changes to the board after Ken Bates finally stepped down as club Chairman.

Bates stayed in his role as Chairman until yesterday despite GFH Capital gaining control of the club in December to help with the transition of running the football club.

Salah Nooruddin, who was appointed vice-chairman in May, will now become the club Chairman.

David Haigh, Deputy CEO of GFH Capital, will replace Chief Executive Shaun Harvey as Managing Director at the club with Harvey becoming a Club Director.

You can see the full statement from the club on the official website.
