Leeds face two huge games in the space of three days with the possibility of firmly cementing their place in the play off positions.

First up is fifth placed Scunthorpe United at Elland Road with Leeds currently just two points behind, the two clubs met on the opening day of the season when Leeds came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Enoch Showunmi and Jermaine Beckford.

Beckford will want to make up in his first game back after picking up a three match ban for elbowing Millwall keeper David Forde recently. He comes up against a club that he enjoyed a successful loan spell at in 2006/07 which saw the Iron promoted to the Championship.

With six of the top seven playing each other this weekend it`s sure to be a big weekend at the top of League One.

Following this game Leeds will be back in action on Monday night when they play against Lancashire rivals Oldham Athletic in front of the live Sky cameras at Boundary Park.

Oldham are currently three points in front of Leeds but have played a game more with an inferior goal difference.

Oldham came away from Elland Road with all three points in Leeds first home game of the season when they won 2-0.

A crucial three days ahead which will have Leeds fans living and breathing every moment which could see them either firmly in the play offs or thinking about another season in League One!
