We now take a look back at October as Leeds indifferent form continues.

Leeds fall to a late goal at Ipswich in a 2-1 defeat in the opening weekend of the month.

Robert Snodgrass scores his first goal of the season to draw Leeds level but a goal inside the final ten minutes condemns Leeds to a second successive defeat.

Alex Bruce being sent off against his former club makes the defeat even worse.

With Kasper Schmeichel already on the sidelines an injury to Shane Higgs leaves Leeds short in the goalkeeper department.

Jason Brown extends his stay from Blackburn Rovers and Ben Alnwick joins on loan from Tottenham Hotspur to ease the goalkeeper crisis.

Mike Grella joins Carlisle United on loan after making just two substitute appearances in the early months of the season.

Leeds get back to winning ways with a 2-1 win at Middlesbrough.

Davide Somma and a stunning strike from Luciano Becchio secure the points. The defeat for Boro sees former Leeds favourite Gordon Strachan relieved of his duties a few days later.
Leeds indifferent form continues and they are beaten 2-1 at home by Leicester City with Luciano Becchio scoring a late consolation for Leeds.

Kasper Schmeichel returns in goal and is partly at fault for the first goal as Leeds are thumped 4-0 at home by Cardiff City.

Andy O`Brien joins Leeds on loan from Bolton Wanderers as the club try to solve their leaky defence.

John Howson scores a fifteen-minute hat trick in the second half as Leeds beat Scunthorpe United 4-1 away.

The win sees Leeds finish the month in twelfth place with 20 points from 14 games.

Despite being in mid table, they are just two points outside the play off places.

Next week we will be looking back at November when Leeds season starts to gain momentum with the side remaining unbeaten during the month.
