Simon Grayson became the second person from Leeds United to be overlooked for a monthly award when Phil Parkinson of Charlton Athletic got the League One manager of the month for August.
Despite winning all seven competitive matches Leeds played during the month, which also included a Carling Cup win over Watford it still wasn`t enough to claim the prize.
Parkinson`s Charlton won all five league games they played in the month but were dumped out of the Carling Cup in the first round at League Two side Hereford.
Grayson was also overlooked after great month`s in March and April last season with Leeds.
I`m sure all at Leeds will not be bothered if he doesn`t pick it up all season as long as the club go unbeaten each month and clinch promotion in May.
