Let’s hope Leeds ace doesn’t bring this into Millwall game

Leeds defender Pontus Jansson has been one of the Whites away on international duty and his spell with Sweden did not end well last night.

The UEFA Nations League and accompanying friendlies have had the headlines in recent days and I for one have actually enjoyed some of the action on show.

Pontus won’t have liked last night’s loss to Turkey, though, as the Swedes threw a 2-1 win away in the final minutes to lose 3-2.

Jansson was on the pitch for it all and after a loss earlier on against Austria, it’s clear that he’s not had the best time of it.

He’ll return to Leeds perhaps feeling a little down, then, but hopefully he’ll shake it off quickly and will then put in a performance that helps us beat Millwall this weekend.

Certainly, we could do without him bringing in the Swede’s luck to that one as we look to remain unbeaten league-wise.
