Leeds United have done their survival chances no end of good following an excellent 1-0 win against Luton Town.

With Kevin Nicholls, former captain turned want-away midfielder not in the squad to face the club he wants to re-join, Leeds seemed to be the guys in charge and a Richard Cresswell goal on 50 minutes sealed the deal!

Cresswell was set up by Jemal Johnson, with Leeds having already hit the bar twice through Jonathon Douglas and Blake managed to also hit the woodwork.

Hero of the day however, goes to one Casper Ankergren. The on-loan goalkeeper saved a late penalty from Dean Morgan described as ‘woeful’ by BBC Sport.

Leeds fans everywhere, the great escape is most definitely on
