The width of the post gave Plymouth a point and took away two for Kevin Blackwell, but that just told part of the story.

David Healy cracked a shot against the post just before the interval but, that apart, Leeds once again failed to look dangerous in front of goal.
Liam Miller and Eddie Lewis were dropped to the bench and Frazer Richardson and Healy were drafted in with the manager hoping for a change of fortune. It was very attack-minded, with Healy lined up alongside Rob Hulse and Robbie Blake in a three-man attack. But they found themselves lost up front as Plymouth swamped the midfield and stopped the supply line.
Healy attempted to take a quick free-kick 25 yards from goal after five minutes but referee Mike Thorpe showed him a yellow card after he had failed to signal. An amazing decision considering there is no rule in the rules of the game that say a player has to wait for a whistle. It never happens in a defensive half, so from what part of the field does this rule suddenly come into action?
Pilgrims boss Tony Pulis is renowned for his stifling tactics, and who were we fooling if we thought this was going to be a goal feast? With the away side conceding just two goals in their previous six games, and the home side goaless in the last three, it was always going to be boring.
Plymouth had a physical approach and Gary Kelly limped off, replaced by Jermaine Beckford.
Plymouth emerged as the greater threat after the restart and the strike pairing of Vincent Pericard and Leon Clarke gave Leeds duo Paul Butler and Sean Gregan plenty of uneasy moments.
Clarke hit the target but Neil Sullivan produced a smart stop to avert the danger and home supporters were left frustrated as the Pilgrims comfortably held on for a point.
