Vital Leeds United Kazza has given us an excellent report of her day out at Elland Road witnessing yet another mighty Leeds win.

Outside Elland Road just before kick-off and I`m outside the West Stand finishing off my chips. The place is heaving and still cant quite believe how many fans are buzzing with excitement and chatting about the turnaround at Elland Road.
One old lady in her Leeds Shirt say’s to me it hasn’t been this good at Elland Road for a long time.

I go to the club shop but cant get in the place is packed with fan after fan coming out of the shop and ripping the price tag of the New Leeds Shirt so eager to put it on.

The place is So Alive and Kicking and it brings a lump to my throat.

I take my seat in the John Charles Stand and along with all the Fans sing my heart out. Out come the player’s, I can`t quite believe the sound from every corner of the ground with the Leeds Fans welcoming their new heroes of Elland Road.

Kick off and straight away Leeds settle down and the Swansea players seem taken a back. I don`t know whether it is the Stadium and its atmosphere, or the thought of being the 7th Victim of our Campaign!

Yellow card is out already after 10 minutes to Swansea Skipper for his full challenge on Kandol. Seb Carole’s suberb pass which connected with Marques head needed all the Swansea’s goalie Dorus De Vries skill to make an excellent save.

Prutton had an appeal for a penalty turned down after Kristen O Leary pulled him down in the area. Prutton and Hughes were running wild in Midfield along with Carole and all three kept creating chances in front of goal.

Jamie Clapham with Rui Marques gave no room to Swansea striker Jason Scotland who apart from two occasions I can recall barely threatened Ankergren in the Leeds goal.

In the second half Swansea started the brighter side and Jason Scotland went close within the opening minutes. Leeds then woke up and started to pass the ball and when it fell to Carole in the 62 minute he turned and passed it to Beckford who fired home.

The Leeds Fans went manic and the Swansea fans sunk back down in their seats.
There was no stopping the Leeds players then, with Douglas and Richardson running their socks off up and down midfield whilst David Hughes made a big impression on the pitch and had a near miss on target.

On 74 minutes, the impressive Seb Carole went off to a standing ovation and on came Westlake.

Swansea managed to use up all their Subs but they were largely ineffective. Most of the time Swansea player’s seemed to spend more time on the ground doing dying ducks acts!

On the 67th minute a superb strike by Prutton fired straight into the back of the net it was an absolute gem and one a goal that was very much deserved. The ground was electric the fans next to me went crazy. From then on Leeds just continued to dominate the game. Full time, 3 more points and a team more than worthy of the Leeds United shirt that they pulled on this afternoon.

I`m not able to choose a Leeds player as Man of The Match as they all deserve it,it was a True Team Effort.

Marching on together, onwards and upwards!
