Leeds United are negotiating major deal that will see them link up with Argentinean Premier League side San Lorenzo.

The Yorkshire Post have suggested that this deal is in the final stages of discussion between the South American side and Ken Bates, to a point such that Argentine International Jonathan Bottinelli will be joining the Whites training sessions next week. Nicolas Bianchi, an Argentina U-20 international looks likely to be joining Bottinelli in Yorkshire for a trial, with a view to signing the players.

Leeds United technical director Gwyn Williams told leedsunited.com:

“We’re looking at the possibility of players coming over here both young and old to train and gain some experience, and that could lead to potential exchanges between the two clubs.”

For such a dreary Friday morning, this certainly is exciting news for Leeds as they may look to add international quality to a League One side that would surely become the telling difference between United and what would quickly become the chasing pack.
