Leeds United had to share the spoils at Elland Road on Tuesday evening but in doing so did extend their lead at the top of the Championship table to four points.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side drew 1-1 with Luton Town to bolster their promotion hopes having defeated rivals Fulham 3-0 at the weekend.
The Whites went behind early in the second half when visiting substitute Harry Cornick shrugged off Ben White to fire past Illan Meslier, but United levelled things up through Mr Reliable, Stuart Dallas.
Pablo Hernandez made an immediate impact, setting fellow sub Gjanni Alioski free down the wing, he then provided a low cross in for the midfielder to hammer home past the Hatters’ goalkeeper.
Should Leeds move on from Bamford this summer?
Absolutely!
No way!
Once again, there were no supporters in attendance meaning the Elland Road faithful had to watch from their homes and watch they did – plenty were left furious by the performance from striker Patrick Bamford.
Per SofaScore, the 26-year-old had three attempts at goal with only one being on target. He also managed just 11 passes, won no aerial duels and lost possession five times from 23 touches of the ball. It was quite a disappointing display all round.
Some supporters blasted him for being a “donkey” whilst “criminal” and “embarrassing” were just two other words used to describe the striker. There was even a shout claiming that he was stealing a living from the club.
Here’s the rest of the reaction…

Costa and Bamford are stealing a living. Absolutely everything good we created was ruined by them today. Utter garbage. Alioski was class however

If promoted, first team in history promoted without a striker. #LUFC

Anyone still defending that attacking display from Bamford needs their head checked. Absolute liability, and he’s costing us points left right and centre
