After the trials and tribulations of trying to organise a foreign (daft idea) pre-season tour during administration, CVA’s and the like, Leeds United have opted for the relatively safe destination of the Republic of Ireland for this seasons summer trip.

Leeds endured a torrid time in trying to arrange games around an uncertain future, hindered further by a towns police force refusing to ensure the safety of anyone for a simple, pre-season friendly!

Nevertheless, the success of last seasons match against financially troubled Shelbourne has obviously left a good idea in the minds of the Leeds United management.

The mighty whites make their way this way that way forwards backwards over the Irish sea (minus the bottle of rum) to face Galway United on Wednesday July 16. They then come up against Dublin-based Bray Wanderers 4 days later and finish up at Tolka Park once more for another game against Shelbourne on the 24th of July.

More details as per usual as we get them!
