With a very successful year for Carlos Corberan’s Under 23 Leeds United side, the club are now being linked with League Two’s Carlisle United talent Liam McCarron.

Over the weekend the Daily Mail tentatively linked us with a move for the 18-year-old lad after he had a decent breakthrough campaign in 2018/19.

Although he only provided one assist in his 20 appearances for the side, he did only start four games for them, as 16 of the showings came as a substitute off the bench.

With our propensity for developing young talent though, McCarron could well be a useful addition as one for the future as he continues to develop, and if the report is to be believed, it would only take £250,000 to ensure that a deal went through this summer.

The paper also claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sheffield United and Derby County are keeping tabs on him as he impressed last season.

Potentially one to watch, although I do doubt the fee here.
