Leeds Striker Out for 2 Months

Leon Constantine broke his arm during Leeds United’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Oldham Athletic and will now be unavailable for the next 2 months.

Constantine, who joined the club from Port Vale in the summer has had a number of injuries that have seen his first team appearances in a Leeds shirt restricted to just 7 games (5 as a substitute,) will now be out of action until the beginning of March.

Speaking to Leedsunited.com boss Dennis Wise said:

‘Leon will be a couple of months. He fell after he’d scored and the break was so severe he shouldn’t have carried on.

‘He’s had a plate in his arm and it will be two months.’

The injury news may mean that Wise speeds up his attempts to land Luton Town’s out of favour striker Dean Morgan.
