The statute in honour of the legend that is former Leeds United captain Billy Bremner is to be refurbished according to the club’s official website.

The centrepiece of the area around Elland Road has borne the brunt of Mother Nature, and more recently, from the fans protest over the summer that saw things placed on, and stuck to the statue.

The club are now making efforts to find a statue cleaning specialist, in order to restore the statue of Billy to a standard that befits the player.
