Many of our players have come out to talk up Marcelo Bielsa’s work so far and that is hardly a surprise.
The Whites have been very good this season and have quickly adopted a style that is synonymous with the Argentine.
He’s enjoyed a solid start, clearly, and the players are loving it too.
Indeed, as well as the obvious tactical and technical improvements we have seen, Adam Forshaw is impressed with our mental resolve.
As per Phil Hay on Twitter, it’s clear that mentally we are looking strong:
some good stuff from Forshaw about Bielsa in here. Feels Bielsa is quite forgiving of technical errors provided the right levels of intensity and application are there. "Eventually he believes the technique will come through as well."

Last year at times we looked a good side and played decent football but mentally we were very weak.
It’s clear that has improved for this season, though, and Bielsa has installed real self-belief and confidence in the way we are playing.
We’re looking strong and it’s clear that both physically and mentally the players are up for the fight this year.
