The Whites have started in scintillating fashion this season and are one of the favourites for promotion.

That, of course, is a familiar sentence, too, when you look at the form of last year under Thomas Christiansen at this point.

Soon, though, we’d fall apart and lose ground on what ended up to be a poor year with many bemoaning a lack of character and weak mentality among the team.

This season, then, we are trying to be as cautious as possible about our hopes but the players are looking to assure us that this year, things are different.

Indeed, speaking to the press yesterday, Ezgjan Alioski was the latest to make such a claim:

Certainly, things have seemed different so far but we’ll get a better idea of that in the coming months.

The Macedonian winger has got plenty of talent but needs to be more consistent so let’s see if he is stronger too.
