The Whites have started well this season and the squad is looking strong even if it isn’t the biggest in number.

However, we are set for a big boost in the shape of Adam Forshaw who is pushing to start against Millwall next week.

That said, though, it looks like it’ll be tough for him to get into the side straightaway with the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich in form under Marcelo Bielsa.

Indeed, the latter has been brilliant and Forshaw has admitted that thanks to his form he faces a real fight to get back into the side immediately.

Via the YEP, he said:

“It would be very difficult (to get back in). He’s been unbelievable and fair play to him. It’s an example to young players and anybody, really. You get a chance and you take it.”

He is right to be fair to him.

Klich has been excellent this season and certainly, it looks as though he and Phillips have midfield locked down at the moment.

Forshaw is a top player, though, so let’s see if he can force his way in.
