Pontus Jansson was in action over the weekend for Sweden as he continued to gear up for the World Cup.
The Swedes will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer and so might not achieve much but Jansson could still play a pretty pivotal part.
It depends, though, which one turns up as to how well they do at the tournament.
The defender can be a real class act but, as we saw majorly last season, he’s not always ready to underline that with some pretty below par performances.
He played 45 minutes for his nation, then:

The Verdict
It’ll be good to see him perform this summer but it’s evident that he needs to find some more consistency.
If he has a good World Cup hopefully he’ll kick-on for us but, at the same time, you just don’t know where his head is at the moment.
