Leeds Sign Scottish Starlet

Leeds United have signed one of Scotland`s top prospects this week as they capture Livingstone`s forward Robert Snodgrass.

Whilst not the most romantic of names, it appears that former Scottish International Gary McAllister has pulled off a major coup by picking up the 20-year-old, highly regarded following his 10-goal haul last season in the Scottish First Division.

Despite interest from a number of clubs both North and South of the border, the player plumped for Leeds United, based on the obvious, the size, stature and nature of what can only be described as a “slumbering giant.”

Snodgrass explained the move decision to leedsunited.com:

“This move is a dream come true.”

“There were a few other clubs from the south that were interested, but this is a club of big stature.

“Over the years a lot of Scots have done well here, and I want to try and get to the next level now.”

Must admit I don`t know a lot about the chap, but I`m certainly very keen to find out as it seems we really have made a major signing here if we are confident enough to sell Elding to Crewe (more on that later!)

A squad forming nicely? Have your say!
