Leeds Set to Lose Douglas to Injury

Leeds United midfielder Jonathan Douglas will learn on Monday the extent of the knee injury he picked up in the 1-1 draw with Walsall at the weekend.

Douglas, who has been standing in as captain whilst Alan Thompson has remained on the substitutes bench was stretchered off in injury time (irony?) leaving Leeds to close out the game with just 10 men.

‘He caught his studs in the grass and twisted his knee,’ Dennis Wise told the official Leeds United website.

‘We’ll know more on Monday, and fingers crossed it isn’t as bad as we first thought.
