Leeds will have to do it all again after salvaging a draw after falling behind at Kettering.

Leeds gave a debut to Tony Capaldi whilst Jason Crowe returned to the side after injury for the game.
Mike Grella replaced Sam Vokes in attack.

Kilkenny had Leeds first chance but his long range effort went wide.

Doyle was next to shoot from long range, once again his effort went wide.

Partridge had the home sides best effort of the half but his shot went wide of the post.

He should have been put through earlier when in acres of space but Ashikodi held onto the ball far to long.

Snodgrass had Leeds first real chance after Beckford found him with a chip to the far post, Snodgrass`s header was blocked on the line by a Kettering defender.

Leeds really should have taken the lead just past the half way stage in the half, a fantastic through ball from Grella found Beckford whose effort cannoned back off the cross bar when he really should have scored.

To ball came out to Snodgrass whose fierce drive hit the post.

Leeds were totally dominating and it looked a matter of time before they took the lead, Howson had the next chance, his header going wide from a Snodgrass cross

Grella was enjoying a rare start and was at the heart of most of Leeds good play was next to go close but his volley was blocked and cleared for a corner.

Despite having all the possession and attempts, it took till shortly before half time to test the keeper when Michalik`s long range free kick was easily dealt with by Harper in the Kettering goal.

The sides went in level at half time, Leeds will have been disappointed to have not put the game to bed, whilst Kettering will have been very happy to have reached the break all square and still dreaming of a giant killing act.

Leeds continued in the second half where they had left off in the first and Snodgrass had two good chances in the first ten minutes of the half.

Kettering still believed at 0-0 and Elding and Heslop gave Leeds a warning in quick succession.

The home side did take the lead shortly afterwards when Roper got his head to a free kick and directed it into an unguarded net with Ankergren nowhere to be seen.

Leeds didn`t panic and continue to attack with patience.
Crowe almost equalised but Harper excellently saved his header.

Michalik should have done better but ballooned a shot over the bar from close range.

Leeds were beginning to think it wasn`t going to be their day when Doyle`s point blank header was fantastically saved by Harper.

The pressure eventually paid off when Snodgrass`s driven cross was guided in by Beckford.

Doyle should have put Leeds in front soon after but shot over when in a good position.

Leeds worked a good opening late on for Snodgrass but his shot went woefully wide.

The Whites will be relieved to earn a replay after what happened at Histon last season, but could certainly have done without another game in what is an already busy December.
