Leeds Return To Winning Ways As Norwich Are Comfortably Beaten

|

Leeds United’s fantastic start to life under Marcelo Bielsa in the season of 2018/19 hit a slight stumble in our last match as we lost the winning streak we were on, but there were still a number of positives that could be taken so confidence wouldn’t have been affected.

Heading to Carrow Road to face Norwich City, the aim was obviously to return to winning ways and we did just that with a 3-0 victory.

Mats Klich got us underway in the 21st minute of the game and Ezgjan Alioski added a second only five minutes later so we went into the halftime break with a 2-0 advantage. Pablo Hernandez curled in an effort in the 67th minute to put the icing on the cake of another decent showing from the side and the win does lift us back to the top of the Championship table for a period.

Obviously the unbeaten start to life this season continues under the new gaffer so all eyes to the next one.
