Fresh from another injury blow for Leeds United as we gun for promotion back to the Premier League in the season of 2018/19, manager Marcelo Bielsa had been forced into a change for the clash earlier today against Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road.
With Kemar Roofe sidelined for around two months, Tyler Roberts came into the starting XI for the gaffer as his replacement for today’s game as we went in search of another three points to keep the pressure on Norwich City and put our game in hand to good use on Sheffield United.
It couldn’t have been a better start in many ways as after ‘some discussion’ Patrick Bamford blasted the ball into the net from 12 yards after we were awarded a rare penalty, but the visitors were back on level terms six minutes later.
The third goal took a while to come but Ezgjan Alioski made his chance count in the 68th minute and following the game we saw a fair few handbags and Phil Parkinson was sent from the stands by the referee
2-1 was how it finished so onto the next one.
