According to Tim Thornton of Sky Sports, Jack Harrison will likely remain at Leeds United as the club would only consider a “ridiculous offer” for the English winger, formerly of NYCFC and Manchester City, amongst links with Newcastle United.

With Raphinha’s imminent move to Barcelona, there is even more reason to believe that Harrison will be a part of Jesse Marsch’s plans this season.

Tim Thornton told GiveMeSport:

“If they lose Raphinha here, I think they’d be very reluctant to let Jack Harrison go unless somebody came in with a ridiculous offer, at which point obviously there will be a conversation to be had.”

This makes sense, as the winger came up with some big moments in 2021/22, including a brilliant hat-trick against West Ham at the London Stadium and a last-minute winner against Brentford on the final day to confirm the club’s Premier League survival.

Jack Harrison first joined Leeds on loan in 2018, becoming a key member of the side in the Championship and eventually being signed on a permanent deal in 2021.

He has played 166 times for the Whites, scoring 28 goals and providing 22 assists. His last two seasons have been his most prolific, scoring 8 goals in each and providing 9 assists in that time, marking an improvement on his seasons in the Championship despite being in a more competitive league.

What are your thoughts on the winger? Should he have a future at Elland Road?
