Leeds United have seen injuries bite hard once again as we continued our preparations for this weekend’s Championship clash against Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road.

Having lost Stuart Dallas and Liam Cooper this week, further reducing defensive options in the backline, there has been some good news on an injury front further up the pitch.

In his pre-game press conference this week as he discussed the current state of play for the medical staff at the club, manager Marcelo Bielsa revealed that he felt there was a real chance that both Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown could come into his thoughts for Saturday given the progress they continued to make on their fitness levels this last week.

If they do make it onto the bench it’ll be a significant step as they continue their recoveries from injury and in Bamford’s case, it would be the first time we have seen our summer capture since the end of August. In Brown’s case, it would be the first team fans have seen him full stop following his own summer arrival.
