According to Football Insider, Leeds United are looking to get Kemar Roofe a new contract sorted to fend off interest from Premier League teams.
Roofe has started this season in exceptional form and looks a top class forward under Marcelo Bielsa.
He’s been out in recent weeks with an injury problem but he is not far away now and it certainly seems as though he is one of our best players.
Keeping him, then, is a must and it looks as though the Whites are now planning to open talks with him over a new deal.
Whether or not he signs it remains to be seen but you’d like to think he will and that will be a big boost to our aims in the near future.
With wonderful movement and a keen eye for goal, he is easily one of the sharpest players in the league right now.
