Yosuke Ideguchi has become the latest player to leave the Whites with him moving to Germany on loan for this season – as per the Yorkshire Evening Post.

A player only signed in January, many of us were excited to see what a World Cup hopeful could potentially bring to our club.

Instead, though, we sent him on loan to Cultural Leonesa, he missed the World Cup with Japan and now looks well out of favour under Marcelo Bielsa.

He’s off to Greuther Furth for this season, then, and it’ll be interesting to see how he does for sure.

At least, too, if he does do well out there we’ve still got him on our books so if he does start playing well we can get him back and get him into the fold.

I hope he does do well, too, because he’s not exactly had much luck of late in his career.
