Leeds United have been flying high in the Championship this season under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, standing at the top of the table and looking solid heading into the second half of the campaign.
However, the Peacocks cannot afford to rest on their laurels and are eyeing further additions during the January transfer window, with a swoop for Real Madrid stopper Kiko Casilla looking set to go ahead, and Bielsa has set his sights on another winger.
Reports have indicated that Swansea City duo Jefferson Montero and Daniel James are on the club’s shortlist, while Bristol City’s Callum O’Dowda is also being considered by Bielsa’s outfit.
Assessing the trio, the best option for Leeds would be securing 21-year-old Wales international James from Swansea as he would provide a solid long-term option and, if worse came to worse, could fill the inspirational void that any departure of Jack Clarke would leave.
