Leeds poor midweek form continued with a 3-2 home defeat to Hull City.

They have now won just three of their last twenty-two midweek games.

It had started well for Leeds who took the lead through a Becchio penalty when James Dudgeon tripped El Hadji Diouf. Hull were incensed with the decision and replays showed it was outside the area.

Hull were level on 23 minutes when poor defending allowed Ahmed Elmohamady to pick his spot.

The visitors were in front five minutes later when Abdoulaye Faye had an easy header at the far post.

Hull clinched the game with less than fifteen minutes remaining when a quick break eventually fell to Robert Koren and he fired past Paddy Kenny.

Andy Gray scored a consolation goal for Leeds in the first of five minutes in injury time but they could not find an equaliser in the time remaining.
