Leeds United’s Pablo Hernandez was nominated for the PFA Championship Fans’ Player of the Month award for the month of November, and in securing 32% of the overall vote, our 33-year-old midfielder lifts the prize for a second time in the campaign of 2018/19.

The Spaniard’s impressive performances for us over the course of the last month makes him a very worthy winner indeed, and he beat off competition from Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley, Aston Villa duo Tammy Abraham and Alan Hutton and Norwich City duo Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia.

Pablo Hernandez (Leeds United) – 32%
Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest) – 31%
Tammy Abraham (Aston Villa) – 13%
Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) – 10%
Emi Buendia (Norwich City) – 7%
Alan Hutton (Aston Villa) – 7%

In fairness, I think the November competition was a tough one and when I saw the shortlist I thought it might actually be far tighter between Hernandez, Abraham and Lolley from what I’ve seen of other performances – but highlights do only show you so much.

Given there’s little it seems Hernandez can’t do this season, it’s probably a safe bet he could twerk if he wanted to as well.
