There’s one thing you can’t deny about Pontus Jansson and that is that he cares deeply about our club.
Whilst at times last season we saw hit commitment questioned it may have been down to what was going on around him and some of the decisions that were being made by key men.
Now, though, he can see the potential the club has got and he was riled up at the weekend as he earned the equaliser against Brentford.
It was his post-match comments that really underlined his passion, though, as he left no-one in uncertain terms about his view of the officiating during the game.
Since, he’s had the chance to calm down a little bit and he has posted this classy message on Twitter:
This team have made me realise what a real teammate means. I love you guys and the goal was for all of you! Now home my wife and probably my little princess will arrive soon!
And also SORRY for bad words in TV after the game, was a lot to take in and couldn’t control my self! pic.twitter.com/efL5S5PbNT— Pontus Jansson (@PJansson5) October 6, 2018
He’s been brilliant since getting back to fitness for us this season and we’re sure it’ll continue once the season resumes in just over a week from now.
