Leeds man can sense fan promotion concern and has a message for us

|

The international break is underway now and countries are taking centre-stage ahead of the club football at the moment.

For sure, it’ll be interesting to see how England do but, at the same time, there is still a lot of focus on the Whites even without a game this weekend.

With the way the season is going, things are heading to the wire and there is probably some concern that we’ll end up in the play-offs now, rather than the top two.

However, Patrick Bamford has moved to try and address that anxiety and suggest that the boys will be able to deal with such an eventuality if it comes to pass.

As quoted by Leeds Live, he said:

“It does take an experienced head to keep the rest of the team under control, we’ve got a lot of experience in there, in terms of people who have played a lot of games.

“I’m fairly young, but I’ve been in the play-offs every year I’ve been in the Championship, so I know what it’s like.”

We have got experienced players in the side and, in Bamford, we have a player that has been in the play-offs before – as well as the likes of Adam Forshaw.

No need to panic yet, then, whilst a top two spot is still more than possible at the moment, so let’s relax.
