Leeds United remain winless at Elland Road after once again being reduced to ten men in the 2-0 defeat to Derby.

Michael Brown was shown a straight red card early in the game to make it three games in a row that Leeds had been reduced to ten men.

Derby won thanks to a goal in each half from Craig Bryson and Steve Davies.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock made three changes from the side that lost at Reading on Friday.

Paul Connolly and Darren O`Dea started after completing their suspensions and Ramon Nunez came in for a red start.

Derby made a decent start, Lonergan made a decent save to deny Jason Shackell and Nathan Tyson headed the rebound onto the roof of the net in the opening minute.

Tyson headed wide again has Derby had dominated the opening fifteen minutes of the game.

Leeds were reduced to ten men for the third game in a row when Michael Brown was shown a straight red card for a high tackle.

Darren O`Dea had Leeds first attempt on target but his header was easy for Frank Fielding in the Derby goal.

Derby were in the lead just past the half hour when Craig Bryson beat Lonergan from long-range.

Derby hand claims for a handball waved away by referee Oliver Langford after Paul Connolly looked to have handled in the area.

Ross McCormack had Leeds best chance of the half with just five minutes remaining of the half with Fielding pushing the ball out for a corner.

Minutes later, Luciano Becchio headed wide for Leeds from a McCormack free kick.

Half time came shortly afterwards with Derby ahead.

Snodgrass had Leeds first effort of the second half when Fielding did well to keep out his free kick.

Nunez then tested Fielding has Leeds looked more of a threat in the second half.

Steve Davies doubled the lead for Derby when he scored after Hendrick saw his initial shot blocked by the Leeds defence.

Substitute Danny Webber had a great chance to pull a goal back for Leeds late on after a great ball from Snodgrass but he fired wide.

Lonergan saved Leeds from conceding a third when he came out to block a shot from Derby sub Joel Ward.

Steve Davies fired over with Derby in full control has the clock ran down on another Leeds defeat.

The defeat condemns Leeds to their tenth home defeat of the season.
