It’s quickly becoming a game of who blinks first between Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion in this years 2019/20 Championship battle.
Following Saturday’s action, we again have the advantage in top spot but that could change again on Sunday afternoon when Slaven Bilic’s side are in action. For ourselves though, manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side do what they needed to do against Huddersfield Town to take another valuable three points, and after a scoreless first half, goals from Ezgjan Aliosko and Pablo Hernandez were enough to keep our winning run going.
Bielsa’s winning streak, after a slower start to the year, has us now on six wins in a row and unbeaten in the last nine in the second tier table. With significant defensive improvements, Bielsa will be wanted to see further improvement in our attacking play as four on target from 14 tells a story – however, two goals from four on target can be argued to be an improvement of its own.
