As Leeds United fans will know it’s now a new week as we hit Tuesday and the summer transfer rumour mill is showing no signs of slowing down. With wingers hotly linked with the club, Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria is a new name for a new week.

The 21-year-old Academy graduate appears to have a mixed time when it comes to loans, as he’s taken in spells out with Sunderland, Rangers and Reading in recent times. With five starting appearances for Liverpool, and three more additional showings from the bench, his career record reads 63 senior showings with four goals returned.

36 of those appearances came in 2018/19 with half a season at Rangers and then Reading and it seems the player is comfortable on either flank, and even through the middle.

On Monday afternoon journalist Courtney Friday took to social media to claim.

With it known that manager Marcelo Bielsa is looking at loans as a means around financial issues whilst we seek promotion, the suggestion is believable in that sense, but at least from what I remember and looking at his stats, I don’t see he’d be much of an improvement on Jack Harrison to be honest.

I doubt I’m alone in that belief.
