According to L’Équipe, Leeds United are intensifying talks for Arnaud Kalimuendo.

Negotiations for a deal worth around 25 million euros are continuing between Leeds and PSG. However, the Whites will have to convince the player to join the club, due to interest from Inter Milan. We really can’t get away from Milan clubs when trying to sign a striker…

The 20-year-old will have fierce competition for his place if he is to join Leeds, as shown by Gelhardt’s fantastic performance against Brisbane Roar and his performances as a whole over the 2021/22 season. His 21 goals in 65 games on loan for RC Lens would help him stake a definite claim, however.

PSG are likely to be open to a move away as would the player, as their front line is packed to the brim with talent: players like Léo Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and potentially Gianluca Scamacca or Robert Lewandowski would make game time hard to come by for the young Frenchman, who may feel it is in his best interests to move away to somewhere new.
