Leeds in talks to sell 2020 out of contract man close to agreeing personal terms – report

Hadi Sacko’s rumoured move to Denizlispor has hit a stumbling block, as Ajansspor understand Leeds are yet to agree terms with the recently-promoted Super Lig side.

It had previously been noted that Denizlispor could announce Sacko’s move to the Denizil Ataturk Stadium by the end of the first week of July, as they looked to wrap up deals for two signings ahead of pre-season training.

The initial claims did not specify if the 3-cap Mali international’s move would be a permanent arrangement or another loan following his spell with Ankaragucu, but United are now thought to be demanding a substantial fee for the full-time transfer of the £1.08million-rated winger, which could prove an issue for the Horozlar.

Denizlispor board member Ali Firat is still in ongoing negotiations with Whites executives to try and reach a compromise before the window closes. Yucel Lidiz’s Turkish outfit are also believed to be close to agreeing personal terms with the 25-year-old, who has now entered the final year of his contract at Elland Road.

Sacko has made 60 appearances for United since his move to West Yorkshire in 2016 on an initial loan from Sporting CP, but has not represented Leeds since March 2018, having been left out of the matchday squad eight times before joining Ankaragucu on loan, with whom he scored three goals in 15 games.
