According to Peterborough Today, Leeds United could still sign Marcus Maddison this window with him available on a loan deal until the end of the month.
The Posh attacking midfielder hit over ten goals last season and laid on over 20 in all competitions and is clearly ready for the Championship.
Trying to bring him in might not be so straightforward, however, with the report suggesting that both Aston Villa and West Brom are in for the player as well.
We could be in for quite the battle, then, as he obviously has great quality and it is possible that a loan-to-buy deal could well be in the offing.
Certainly, he’s a player I’d love to see at Elland Road and I can definitely see him bringing his form from last season into this year.
There’s a couple of weeks to get this one done, then, and we need to beat the likes of Villa to his signature if we’re aiming on getting promoted.
