The Sky Bet Championship title race will continue after the international break has ended and it certainly looks set to be a cracker right to the end.
The Whites are currently third but know that those above them are going to drop points at some stage so there is still plenty to play for.
Gordon Strachan is confident that we can get back into the Premier League, too, and thinks that when we do it’ll make the division even more exciting.
As quoted by Leeds Live, he said:
“It’s already a very good league, probably the best-watched in the world. When Leeds join there’s millions more going to watch it.”
He isn’t exactly wrong either.
There is a reason we end up on Sky Sports more than any other side in the EFL and that is because we are box office.
We have a huge fan-base – bigger than most in the Premier League – and once we return to the top flight you can tell we’ll quickly re-establish ourselves.
It’s now just a case of actually getting there and finally putting things right.
