Patrick Kisnorbo was back in the Leeds side and started alongside Max Gradel and Luciano Becchio who were recalled to the league side.

Captain Richard Naylor also returned to the bench after injury.

Brentford started well, but Leeds went closest in the early stages. Jermaine Beckford saw his shot saved by Szczesny and pushed onto the bar.

In a scrappy first half on a poor pitch, neither side could get control of the game.

Despite Brentford enjoying the most possession, Leeds looked; the more likely to score and Gradel had two chances for the visitors.

The sides went in goalless after a drab first half, which could surely only get better in the second half.

Beckford had a good early chance in the second half but his header was straight at the keeper.

Kilkenny was next to go close but his effort hit the top of the bar and out to safety.

Gradel almost gave Leeds the lead but his shot just went wide.

Simon Grayson made a double substitution with fifteen minutes remaining, bringing on Tresor Kandol and Hogan Ephraim for Max Gradel and Luciano Becchio.

With time ticking down Kandol tried his look from range but it went just wide.

Leeds continued to look for a late winner and Kandol once again went close when he headed wide following a corner.

The full time whistle went and Leeds had to settle for their second draw in a row

With Charlton winning Leeds lead at the top of the table has been cut to two points.
