Leeds United have reportedly offered a trial to club legend Lucas Radebe’s son, Lucas Jr.

The now 49-year-old’s start to life at Elland Road back in September 1994, well, it’s fair to say it wasn’t great with and injuries certainly didn’t help him settle in, but we went on to see the best of him in an eleven year spell and he proved to be a snip at a reported £250,000 from Kaizer Chiefs.

With 263 appearances to his name across his time with us, the South African international is extremely fondly remembered at the club.

BBC journalist Adam Pope tweeted that Radebe and his son were at the game at the weekend as we opened our Championship season up against newly relegated Stoke City and the victory wasn’t the only thing some fans were celebrating as news of a potential trial taking place this week broke for his young attacking lad.

The 19-year-old is a striker/winger apparently and plenty would love to see him follow in the footsteps of his old man at the club.
