Dennis Wise has announced his 20 man squad that will jet off to Germany for a 3-game pre-season tour. The lineup of players includes a number of old boys, some trialists and a number of youngsters who will be looking to impress the management.

On trial will be goalkeepers Nick Hamman, and Scott Loach, with no mention of former Norwich City stopper Danny Gay who had played a part in the previous two friendly games at Shelbourne and York. Former Forest favourite David Prutton, Crewe Alex target Leon Constantine and youngster Curtis Weston complete the on-trial collection.

There is no place on Tuesday`s plane for Tore Andre Flo, who despite being back in training hasn`t featured in a Leeds shirt since, well his Leeds debut in what could be an indication that his time at Elland Road has finished before it really had a chance to start. Alan Thompason, Rui Marques and Matt Heath however travel to Germany in the hope of earning a new contract.

A major boost is the inclusion of Jermaine Beckford, who despite interest from Scunthorpe United has remained at the club even though a number of other Leeds players have left since the end of the season.

Leeds United start with Union Berlin on Wednesday, then move onto Dresden and Cottbus on Saturday and Monday respectively.

The squad: Hamman, Loach, Richardson, Marques, Heath, Lewis, Thompson, Prutton, Douglas, Kandol, Beckford, Constantine, Weston, Carole, Bayly, Howson, Westlake, Delph, Elliott, Parker.
