Football League rules state that no side can name more than 5 players that are at the club on loan for a football match.
Leeds United named 6 in the squad for the game against Burnley on the 28th November…whoops.
Yesterday the club were punished with a whopping £2000 fine. I know there`s been debt in recent years around the club but crikey that`s low! What makes the story even funnier, £1000 is suspended!
Goalkeeper Graham Stack, Heath, Ehiogu Kandol and the Horse all played. Tony Warner then tipped us over the edge.
Makes you wonder just how the authorities consider £1000 payment a punishment in modern football. Still we can’t really complain can we! Red-Rom for example could probably afford the fine in his earnings before he’d even finished his pre-match pie (assuming Abramovich eats pies?)
