Former Leeds manager David O’Leary has said that he has been delighted with the way the club has started the season this year.

The Whites were in the Premier League when he was our manager and we enjoyed some of our finest times under his tenure both on the domestic scene and in Europe.

For sure, we’ll remember his work and results for the club fondly for some time and it is clear that he is enjoying seeing us go well this season under another great manager in Marcelo Bielsa.

Arguably, Bielsa is the biggest manager we’ve had since O’Leary at the very least and the former Leeds boss is loving the turnaround.

Via the Daily Mail, he said:

“I am delighted they have started well.

“It would be great for them to come back into the Premier League.”

We all enjoyed the period we spent under O’Leary and it’s certainly something we all want to get back to as soon as possible.

With Bielsa in charge, too, it seems as though we’re closer to getting back there than we’ve been for a long, long time.
