Tiny T gives us his usual fans view from the game at Elland Road.

This time after the 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City

Player Ratings

Paddy Kenny 6
Very little to do, no chance with the goal, his kicking was bad though.

Sam Byram 5
His mistake gave away the goal, up to then he had been solid.

Tom Lees 8
Outstanding at the heart of the defence. He gave away nothing, though his long balls were poor at times.

Lee Peltier 8
Another strong performance, like Lees, he gave away nothing.

Aidy White 6
Like the rest of defence, solid. He lacks it going forward though

Ross Barkley 5
He showed glimpses of his talent. He had one cleared off the line. Played out wide, he needs to be in the middle of the park.

Rodolph Austin 4
He gave away the ball too much. He hasn’t been at his best since returning from injury.

Michael Brown 4
Game passed him by at times, he has had his time. Played well last week but he was back to normal this week.

Luke Varney 6
He toiled away against a very robust back four. He won some in the air but not protected by the referee.

El Hadji-Diouf 5
Tried but not his day, we needed pace to add to his guile.

Ross McCormack 5
Nothing to work off, but never he stopped trying.

Habib Habibou 3
Not at the races as we struggled to create.

Summary
Again, another strong defensive display that deserved at least a draw, apart from Sam’s mistake Cardiff never looked like scoring and the better chances definitely fell to us.

Hard to choose a Star man with Lees and Peltier so close.

Warnock got it wrong yet again. The centre of midfield was disjointed and Barkley looked better when playing more centrally, we lacked width yet again.

We needed to change at half time, most fans round where we sit would have taken Brown off moved Barclay inside and put Green wide but we stuck with the same for 90 minutes.

The bench was lopsided with too many midfielders. We lack pace, so why no Poleon? Khirwin and Gray should have been asking these questions to the manager on Yorkshire Radio after the game.

Habibou looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights when he came on. Not being disrespectful to him but a tough game to make your debut.

Mike Dean was poor, he missed the Penalty as did the Linesman, decisions he made should have been made and production of the yellow card. Their number 17 kicked the ball away at all the free kicks we were given around the Cardiff box and all went unpunished.

We lacked imagination to unlock a big defence, but on this display how Cardiff are top is a mystery.

Looking forward, we now need the 3 points on offer at Wolves next week. Warnock needs to mix it up a little better and we should pick up the points
