Leeds Fans United?

As pressure on a certain Ken Bates to resign increases, Leeds United CEO Shaun Harvey has called on Leeds fans not to divide their loyalties and get behind the current takeover bid.

Leeds are still awaiting a decision from the Football League as to whether they can have their “golden share” back, allowing them to take part in this years League One season. The confusion and lack of information coming out of the club has led a large number of fans to start a flower protest at the feet of the Billy Bremner statue in a clear sign of defiance against Leeds United 2007 Ltd.

Speaking to the official website Harvey said: ‘It is important that we receive everybody’s support behind getting the share back which is why I am dismayed that there seems to be resurgence, fuelled by certain sections of the media, against the consortium led by Ken Bates. This is time to unite not divide.’
