The EFL Team of the Year has been revealed by Sky Bet and, shockingly, there are no Leeds players in the list.
Of course, I don’t think any of us could really expect one of our lads to be in the side because, quite frankly, we’ve not been good enough at all.
With that said, though, I do think someone like Samu Saiz would have got into the team if he’d kept up his own form into the second half of the campaign and that we’d just been not as bad as we have been.
Let’s not dwell, though – there’s always next year, providing he’s here – and Phil Hay has moved to offer up his team which has caused some debate.
Let’s take a look at what some of our fans are saying about his selection then as well as offering up there own – sometimes unique – takes:
With loan players (who should't really be discounted on that basis): Ruddy, Paterson, Bamba, Boly, Douglas, Neves, Cairney, Ralls, Sessegnon, Jota, Cavaleiro.https://t.co/aNPGEZI3Eb

Provided Colin with the subject for his next team talk. Strolling to promotion and no player in Team of the Season?

Heckingbottom has no vote, he wouldn't know a good footballer if they smacked him in the face
